The University Honors Program is a place where students can challenge themselves as they pursue their intellectual and creative interests. The program is designed to foster a critical sense of inquiry, a spirit of creativity, a global perspective, and an ethic of civic responsibility. All University Honors Program students engage in undergraduate research projects and take advantage of experiential learning and service-learning opportunities.

We prepare students to develop effective and thorough solutions to our most pressing problems. Having a global perspective and civic responsibility are not luxuries. Our leaders, today and tomorrow, need those qualities, and the University Honors Program at Georgia Southern is designed to develop in our students the skills and abilities to help change our world.
