The University of Florida, under the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, section 504, is required to make reasonable accommodations to the known physical and mental limitations of otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities. If you require any type of an accommodation for an event sponsored by the University of Florida accommodation requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the function. UF has a strong commitment to facilitate the use of our Web pages by people with disabilities. We produce industry recognized, standards-based designs which are accessible to a range of text readers. Many of the sites at UF use these designs and we are actively moving to full implementation.
