New Freshman (Traditional)
A first-time GPC student below the age of 23, who has graduated from an accredited high school within the last five years, or has earned a GED or 30 or fewer transferable semester hours at an accredited college.
New Freshman (Non-Traditional)
A first-time GPC student above the age of 23, who has graduated from high school more than five years ago, or has earned a GED and may have previous college or university attendance.
A student interested only in distance learning/online courses.
A student born or educated outside the United States.
A student interested in earning college credit while still enrolled in high school.
An active/inactive member of the U.S. military or a military spouse or dependent.
A student currently enrolled at another accredited college or university who wishes to take courses at GPC.
A student with 30 semester hours or more of transferable credit from an accredited college or university.
A student who has graduated from high school under a homeschool program.
A student who is 62 years of age or older and not seeking a degree.
A student who already has a baccalaureate or higher degree.
A returning GPC student who has not enrolled for three or more terms.
