$25.00 Application Fee – The fee may be paid by credit card online or by a dollar check drawn on a U.S. bank or an international money order obtainable from banks or American Express offices. All transactions must be in U.S. funds and made payable to Mansfield University.
Official Academic Records – Applicants are required to send official certified copies of all academic records by postal mail to the Center for International Education at Mansfield University (CIEM). When possible, records should be sent directly from the academic institution attended and contained in a sealed envelope.
Official Test Scores – Applicants from countries where English is not the official language are required to submit official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam, or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Applicants from countries where English is the official language must submit the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). A TOEFL score of 79 on the internet-based exam, or 6.5 IELTS indicate sufficient English proficiency. English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are available for applicants who do not meet the proficiency requirements.

Passport - Include a copy of passport ID pages. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after you enter the United States on your student visa.
Financial Aid Application Form - Please fill out this online form and submit to the University.
Financial Certification Insert Form - Print and complete the form and mail it to the Center for International Education at Mansfield University (CIEM).
Financial Documents – U.S. law mandates that international students prove that they can support their estimated annual cost. Students must submit an original certified letter from the sponsor and the sponsor’s bank indicating the amount of money available to the student.
Personal Statement – Applicants must submit a written personal statement or essay. The personal statement gives us a chance to get a personal impression of you, an insight that is not possible to be gained through the grades and numbers that make up the remainder of our application.
Transfer Students – International students who wish to transfer credit to Mansfield University are required to have all transcripts evaluated by a service such as World Academic Research Center http://www.foreigndegrees.com/ or World Education Services http://www.wes.org/application/. Credit will not be awarded if an evaluation service is not used.
Graduate Student Admissions – In addition to the general application requirements, including undergraduate and graduate transcript evaluations, graduate applicants must submit two letters of recommendation.
Scholarships – Students accepted to Mansfield University are automatically considered for scholarships based on their academic achievement. We strongly encourage applicants to submit applications and required documentation at least three (3) months prior to their desired date of entry. This will allow adequate time for processing your application and documents required for entry into the United States, allow for postal delays which may occur, and the review of academic documents by the scholarship committee.
