Developing Tomorrow's Leaders

Welcome Corning Community College Students!

As part of our commitment to you, this webpage is devoted to assisting you in your transfer to Mansfield University.  We have started with some of the more popular majors that CCC students choose at MU and posted advising sheets for your use.

Just click on the major you are interested in and see where your Corning courses fit into our curriculum.  There is also a separate chart displaying General Education course possibilities.  When you are reviewing an advising sheet, you will notice that your Corning CC courses are in red.

For specific course equations, or for questions about this page, you may contact our Transfer Coordinator, Jan Yoder.

Additional advising sheets will be added in the future.  We hope that you will find this service to be both helpful and informative in relation to your academic planning process.

To ensure a smooth transition into our Education degree program, you must be aware of the Praxis and Clearance requirements.  Please  familiarize yourself with them and refer to our Education department webpage if you still have questions.

*Due to the Chapter 49 requirements mandated by PDE, major changes in education requirements will take place beginning Fall 2009.  As a result, students transferring in to our education degree programs must work closely with their MU education advisor to be sure all requirements are met by certification deadlines.

For information on the new Chaper 49 requirements, please visit the PDE website http://www.teaching.state.pa.us/chapter49/cwp/view.asp?a=3&q=147192.

Transfer students seeking to appeal the equivalency and/or application of their transfer credits to a degree program may do so by submitting a request in writing, with supporting documentation, to the Executive Director of Enrollment Services, South Hall.
