Founded in 1887, Troy University has been named “A Best College in the Southeast” by The Princeton Review. Located in the warm Southeastern part of the US, near sandy white beaches of Florida, we offer quality education at an exceptional value. The Troy Campus is located on a 577-acre (234 hectare) beautiful park-like campus that includes green areas, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, theaters, Starbucks coffee house, tennis and volleyball courts, soccer and track fields, fitness center and a special International Living & Learning Center. The Southern region of the United States has a rich heritage of friendly hospitality in a safe, family-like environment. Troy University’s Atlanta Site hosts four graduate programs and English as a second language courses for international students. Atlanta is one of the leading American cities in international business, tourism, and university studies. Atlanta is home to over 60 consulates and to 137,000 international and local businesses. Both international and domestic students like TROY programs for their reasonable prices, qualified and experienced professors, diverse student population, and convenient location, right next to the public train station. The Montgomery Campus, located in the downtown historic district of the state capital is the second largest TROY campus in Alabama. The Montgomery Campus has eight academic buildings and is the home of the Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts and the Rosa Parks Library and Museum. There are over four thousand students taking courses in one of the numerous undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The graduate class average size is less than 20 students. The Dothan Campus is located on 275 acres in the southeast corner of Alabama. The Dothan Campus has three modern buildings that contain cutting-edge technology. Over 1,800 students take courses in a variety of thirty-six undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The graduate class average size is less than 20 students. The average undergraduate class size is 23 students. Dothan, Alabama commonly known as the "Peanut Capital of the World" is a rapidly growing city and thriving community built around the landmarks of its past. Although it is the center for recreation, business, industry, agriculture, healthcare and retail trade in the area with a metropolitan-area population is over 142,000, it has retained its friendly atmosphere of Southern Hospitality. Dothan is a three-hour drive from Atlanta, less than two hours from Montgomery, and three hours from Mobile.  It is less than a two hour drive to the beautiful white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The climate is subtropical with temperatures ranging from 69-95F/18-35C in the summer and 36-69F/2-18C in the winter. The average annual rainfall is 56 inches.
