What students need to do when preparing to register for an upcoming semester:
-
Print your "Program Evaluation." (Found under "Web Advisor"; Log In; Academic Planning; Academic Profile.) Identify all of the courses you need to graduate.
-
Print the "General Education Requirements" – 3 sheets. (Under "A-Z Index"; "A" for Academic Records; then scroll down to General Education Requirements under "Other Information.") This tells you what courses are acceptable to use under your General Education Requirements. It also tells you what courses are designated as satisfying the requirements for the "Writing", "Informational Literacy", and "Global Awareness."
-
Print a "Course Selection Sheet." Available from the Academic Records website. Fill out the requested information. Then, search for classes.
-
Search for Classes. (Found under Web Advisor.) This is where you use your Program Evaluation along with your General Education Requirements sheets. Insert the classes you want to take in your Course Selection Sheet. Make sure you include several alternate courses just in case all of the seats in the class you want to take are full.
-
Meet with your Advisor. Office hours for all criminal justice faculty are posted on their office doors in Pinecrest Manor.
