CJA 4496-190 (W): History of Mass Murder in the U.S.

All students are granted an automatic "incomplete" until Monday, Aug. 3.  Requirements include: (1) a 10 page paper on a mass murderer of your choice, (2) construction of a Power Point presentation on your mass murderer, (3) view select videos from YouTube.com, (4) respond to essay questions from Duwe's textbook, (5) respond to general questions on mass murder, and (6) annotated bibliography on mass murder after 1965.  Can be taken Pass/Fail.

All students are granted an automatic "incomplete" until Monday, Aug. 3.  Requirements include: (1) a 10 page paper on Dennis Rader, the BTK Strangler, (2) construction of a Power Point presentation on Dennis Rader, (3) essay questions taken from "The State's Summary of the Evidence," (4) essay questions from the books "Inside the Mind of BTK," and "Bind, Torture, Kill," (5) ask and answer your own questions from Robert Beattie's book 'Nightmare in Wichita."  Can be taken Pass/Fail.

Requirements include: (1) 2 book reviews, (2) reviewing and constructing notes on a lecture (via Internet) featuring former FBI Profiler Robert Ressler, (3) constructing a Power Point presentation on the serial killer of your choice, (4) constructing an annotated bibliography on serial murder, (5) respond to essay questions taken from your textbook, and (6) prepare notes for any 5 videos on serial killers viewed on TV or YouTube.com.  Can be taken Pass/Fail.
