Creating Opportunities for Excellence
The College of Education and Health Professions celebrated a decade of expansion and excellence in 2008 by introducing two new initiatives to assist in meeting the critical needs and opportunities that come with positive growth. Since 1997, student enrollment in our college has increased by 53% with over 1,800 students enrolling in College of Education and Health Professions programs in Fall 2008.
The Friends of Education Annual Fund and College of Education and Health Professions Endowment provide two opportunities for College of Education and Health Professions supporters to make a dramatic difference in a student's life and the K-12 community. In addition, Friends of Education has unveiled a new program to recognize "Inspiring Teachers".
