Search for scholarships you may be eligible for through Kent State University and the Regional Campuses.
Kent State University at East Liverpool students are invited to fill out a scholarship application packet each spring. Scholarship application packets may be picked up at the campus's reception desk or downloaded here. For current students or transfer students to be eligible for consideration of East Liverpool scholarships students must be enrolled for Fall classes by May 5, 2012. Scholarship materials must be received by June 30, 2012. For incoming, first-time freshman students to be eligible for consideration of East Liverpool scholarships students must be enrolled for Fall classes by July 15, 2012. Scholarship materials must be received by July 15, 2012. Students must be enrolled in classes when their application is submitted. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, community service, merit, course of study and geographic location.

Honors Scholarships
The Honors Program scholarships are awarded to selected freshmen who have the potential for superior scholarly and creative work at the university. Scholarship recipients are members of the Honors Program and can retain their scholarships for up to two years if attending Kent State East Liverpool or Kent State Salem. Students must meet specific requirements. Those already enrolled in the Honors Program can also apply for a limited number of merit scholarships. All entering freshmen are eligible to be considered for freshman Honors Scholarships ranging from $1,200 to full, in-state tuition per academic year. Students who wish to be considered for any honors scholarship need to submit their high school transcripts, including standardized test scores, GPAs and class ranks.

West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania residents receive a tuition reduction, which can be more than $6,000 depending on your situation. To qualify, residents must live in one of the following counties: Brooke, Hancock or Ohio county in West Virginia or Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Crawford, Erie, Lawrence or Mercer county in Pennsylvania.
