CT has been alerted to recent phishing scams being sent to both employees and students.
Most of these phishing attempt purports the users mailbox will be shutdown, and ask for you to respond to the email with your user name and password.
Please disregard any emails asking for that information. If you have responded to one of these messages with account information, please contact the helpdesk at 570-662-4357
CT will NEVER ask you to send personal information such as username, password, date of birth, via email. When your password expires, an email does direct you to change it at our secure site. Password changes on the web are only done on our secure website at https://ssl.mansfield.edu/active-directory/
Our secure password change utility displays an Extended Validation Certificate Green Bar. The site is validated by a DigiCert High Assurance EV CA-1 SSL Certifcate. Below are example how this will display in specific browsers:
This verifies that the site you are changing your password on is authenticated and registered to Mansfield University, and is secure.
