GPC Foundation Funding and Reimbursement
All requests for funding from the Georgia Perimeter College Foundation must be pre-approved, except those being requested from Restricted Program Funds by the approved Budget Manager. The “Request for Foundation Support” must be used to request funding of qualified college-related programs or activities during the initial program planning, and no later than six weeks prior to an event.
Upon approval of funding, the “Request for Foundation Funds” must be submitted for authorization to expend funds as well as to request reimbursement of pre-approved expenditures. Both forms must be signed by the Budget Manager requesting funding, and the dean or division head. Completed forms, along with original receipts, invoices, and any other supporting documentation must accompany the request for reimbursement, and sent to the Office of Institutional Advancement for approval by the Director of Institutional Advancement.
" Requests for Restricted Program Funds" must be made using the Restricted Programs Request Form and accompanied by related documents, and must be received by the GPC Foundation at least 10 business days before the date the funds are needed, to allow time for the request to be processed and turned over to the GPC accounting office
The Office of Institutional Advancement will retain documentation for audit purposes. The Foundation will not be responsible for refunding any expenditure of unrestricted funds that have not been pre-approved. No Foundation funds shall be expended for personal or non-job related expenses.
