All e-resources on this page offer mobile-friendly interfaces. If you don't see what you need here, please visit GALILEO or GPC's full list of locally-purchased e-resources. Although not designed for mobile devices, some may be functional on your particular device.

Off Campus?
If you are off-campus, you will need to log into our proxy server (using your GPC username and password) to access most of these resources. For students, the GPC username and password are the same ones you use for iCollege. For faculty/staff, it will be the same username and password you use for webmail.
ARTstor
Images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences. The orange "Go" button in the top right of the screen will direct mobile users to the ARTstor mobile site. (Mobile users will need to register for an ARTstor account through the standard interface and use that account to log into the mobile interface.)
The Chronicle of Higher Education Online
Source of news, information, and jobs for college and university faculty members and administrators. (Mobile users will be automatically directed to the Chronicle mobile interface and will be given the option to switch back to standard view.)
EBSCOhost Mobile Academic
Mobile interface to selected EBSCO databases provided by GALILEO. Offers limited functionality such as basic searching, HTML & PDF full text, multi-database searching, image quick view, and more. (Off campus users will be prompted for their GALILEO password.)
Encyclopaedia Britannica Online
Includes thousands of articles from the printed Encyclopædia Britannica, including thousands more that are not found in the print set. (Mobile users will be directed to the mobile or standard interface based on screen size, so tablet users may find themselves directed to the standard interface.)
GIL-Find @ GPC
The new look and feel for the libraries' original catalog, GIL Classic@GPC. (Users will have to login with their patron barcode, last name, and PIN to access "My Account" functions.)
GPC Libraries Research Guides
Research assistance, subject guides, and other useful resources compiled by your friendly GPC librarians.
JSTOR Mobile (Beta)
Full-text access to back issues of scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences and sciences. (The mobile interface is a separate website from the standard JSTOR interface, and is very beta. Off-campus access may be unreliable.)
Lexis Nexis Academic Mobile
Provides a quick news, business, or legal search for users on the go. While not all of the content in the
full LexisNexis Academic version is accessible through the mobile interface, basic searches can be executed quickly and easily. (The mobile interface is a separate website so tablet users may prefer the
standard interface.)
OmniFile Full Text Select (WilsonWeb)
A multidisciplinary, 100% full-text database providing full text articles, with their accompanying indexing and abstracts, from the a wide range of Wilson periodical databases. (Mobile users will be directed to the mobile or standard interface based on screen size, so tablet users may find themselves directed to the standard interface.)
