Absences     Students’ academic success is the major priority of the College.  Because regular participation enhances the learning process, students are expected to adhere to the attendance policy set forth by the College and individual faculty members.  Differences in content and teaching styles exist among courses, which can impact students’ learning.  Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to attend all classes.  Students are accountable for assignments and material covered during an absence. Please don't stop attending class without consulting your instructor and doing the proper paperwork.

Math Lab     The Math Lab, (Arne Paulsen, Supervisor) is a place for individual help to supplement class time and instructor office hours. This tutoring is free and available by appointment or to walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.  The Math Lab is operated by the Learning & Tutoring Center in CB-1207, Phone: 678-891-3590. 

Computer      The Open Computer Labs are located in the Jim Cherry LRC, Rm. CL2330 and in CC-1180.

Grading       A (90-100) B (80-89) C (70-79) Collegiate D (60-69) Learning Support IP (60-69) F (0-59)

The grade of C or better is often a prerequisite for the next MATH, CSCI, or ENGR course and is always recommended.  [Learning Support students should also refer to the Comprehensive Course Guide.]

Calculator    TI-84 graphing calculators are required in Math 0098 through Math 1433 and in courses beyond those as noted in the class schedule online & instructors’ syllabi.

Workshops     The following workshops are available: TI-83/84 graphing calculator and Mathematica.  Please see your instructor for more information.
