Welcome to the webpage for the Decatur Campus Symposium at Georgia Perimeter College.

The 2006 Symposium was held March 16 - 23, 2006 on the Decatur Campus and featured events examining the history and impact of collegiate athletics.

Symposium events included essay and trivia contests, exhibits, films, and a wide range of speakers.

The Symposium featured two lectures on the Jan Kemp Case at UGA by figures involved in the case and a talk by David Lattin of the 1966 Texas Western College "Glory Road" basketball team. Audio of these presentations is available on the speakers page.

Thanks for joining us in our exploration the history and impact of college sports.
