Connecting: Past, Present and Future
Forty years ago, Georgia Perimeter College, then known as DeKalb College, opened its doors to 763 students. Evolving from a cozy community college to a sprawling, innovative institution of higher learning that still retains its small-campus appeal, the school has grown to an enrollment of more than 21,000 students. Celebration of GPC's 40th anniversary with its theme of Connecting: Past, Present and Future provides opportunities not only to reminisce, but also to examine how the past has led to the present and look at our promising future.1960s
