Outdoor Education

For safety reasons, these trips are open to GPC students and employees only.

Outdoor education programs promote enjoyment and learning experiences outside the classroom. These events are weekend activities that consider the time and financial restraints of college students.

Outdoor education events include canoeing, paint ball challenge, indoor rock climbing, horse back riding, and whitewater rafting.

The goal of outdoor education events is to enhance the quality of student life and expose students to a variety of lifelong learning activities.

Each trip includes transportation to each destination by college van, snacks, and all equipment needed for planned activities.

Trip Registration Procedures

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited, so please register early. Participants are required to attend an orientation and safety meeting before departure.
Email Rodney Pegues to register for a trip, or fax 678-891-2724.
