In the event that you get sick on campus, Campus Protective Services (GPC Public Safety) will handle contacting emergency care personnel from either DeKalb, Gwinnett or Rockdale County. The student or parent will assume full responsibility for the cost of such emergency care, including ambulance charges. An accident and hospitalization insurance plan is available to Georgia Perimeter College students. Applications for insurance can be obtained in the office of the Campus Dean of Student Services or at www.studentinsurance.com.
