The Instructional Technologist group supports GPC's increasing emphasis on the importance of instructional technology from faculty desktops, to distance learning. Some of the services provided by this group are:
- Providing technical consulting services to faculty in the areas of:
- classroom technology
- web page development
- distance learning (WebCT and tools)
- Providing technical assistance to faculty developing instructional materials in the Instructional Design Lab (IDL)

- Promoting use of technology to faculty by participating in college-wide technology events and meetings.
- Working with faculty as a technical adviser to assist in grant applications
