Stephan Moore has been named the new Director of Student Life at Georgia Perimeter College Newton Campus.
Moore has been a professional in the field of Higher Education/Student Affairs for more than eight years. Prior to arriving at Georgia Perimeter College, Moore served as director of residence life and housing for The Art Institute. He also has held professional positions at Campbell University, Louisburg College and North Carolina Central University.
“I am pleased to be a part of the warm, diverse, and collegial environment at Georgia Perimeter College,” Moore said. “I am looking forward to once again be a part of the development of a department or program that is such an integral part of our campus community.”
Moore started his career in residential life and has since worked with and/or formulated partnerships in other areas of student affairs, including New Student Programs, Multicultural Affairs, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Leadership Programs, Judicial Affairs, Academic Advisement and Student Support Services.
Moore is a member of numerous national, regional and state organizations for student affairs professionals including, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASAP), College Student Educators International (ACPA) and Georgia College Personnel Association (GCPA).
Moore earned his bachelor of science in education from Campbell University and his master’s of arts in educational leadership from Argosy University.
