The International Peer Assistant (IPA) Program consists of a team of volunteers who offer peer support and informational assistance to international students who are new to the United States and GPC. International Peer Assistants are returning students who understand the challenges international students encounter adapting to a new culture. IPAs, because of their first hand experiences and knowledge of how things work at GPC, play a key role in welcoming new students and helping them to get oriented to their new surroundings.  The International Student Admissions and Advising staff provides training and supervision for this volunteer program.
