About DHCX

Come join us for a deep dive into the digital age as it relates to health communication, education, information, monitoring, marketing, and new media. Together we will discover, discuss, and develop new methods to effectively and efficiently apply digital resources in community and healthcare settings to obtain optimal behavior changes and health outcomes.

Dear Friends of DHCX,

Thanks to our fantastic speakers, sponsors, and especially our participants, DHCX 2013 was another amazing experience! We learned so much from you all about digital health innovations and also about ways to make DHCX even better. We are committed to ensuring that DHCX is unique and meaningful for all who attend, and part of that commitment involves creativity and experimentation. It is in that spirit that we have decided to move DHCX to Washington, DC in 2014 to mix things up and reach other audiences that cannot easily make it to Orlando.

We are aiming for June or July 2014 and are currently exploring dates and locations.  Please check our website ( often for updates and details as they become available.

With this change, we have also decided to rename DHCX to better reflect the great exchanges of ideas, information, and insights that take place in the sessions and the hallways. Going forward, our event will now be known as the “Digital Health Communication eXchange,” but you can be sure that we remain firmly committed to the creative “eXtravaganza” spirit that has made DHCX so special.

We have recently updated out website ( with great photos, videos, and slides from DHCX 2013. Please check it out and tell your friends! And don’t forget to join us on Facebook ( and follow us on Twitter ( for the latest updates.

Thank you all for your ongoing support for DHCX.  We look forward to seeing you in DC in the Summer of 2014!

What is this view?

You are using a dynamic assistive view of the University of Florida site. It has all the same data and features of the original site but formatted just with assistive users in mind. It has links and content reorganized to aid assistive users and has controls at the bottom under assistive options that allow you to control key aspects such as font size and contrast colors etc.
This is not a separate text-only site, it's a dynamic view that uses unique technology from Usablenet to give assistive users better, more accessible access to the same content and features as all users that use the graphic view of the site.
