Bayboro Fiction Contest

VIEW ALL ITEMS IN THIS COLLECTION

Between 1986 and 2010, the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library, with the support of the Society for the Advancement of Poynter Library, hosted a fiction contest most years for students of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Judges from the community reviewed the submissions and determined the winners. Small cash prizes were awarded to the winners and winning entries were published on the Library website and in the SAPL newsletter. The final contest was held in the 2010/2011 academic year and much of the collection has been digitized and added to the digital archive.

A listing of contest winners is available here.
