Placement Testing

Is there a deadline when the placement test has to be taken?
Placement testing is a part of the admissions process, so you must test – or exempt testing – before you can be admitted to Georgia Perimeter College.

If you are admitted based on your initial test scores but test into learning support and want to retest, you must complete the placement retest before starting classes.

Important notes

1. Students who start classes are not eligible to retest.

2. To be eligible to take the initial placement test and the placement retest, the initial placement test should be taken no later than three (3) weeks before the start of class under the current retest policy.
