The research associate will be member of the Monitoring and Evaluation team. The research associate will perform assignments related to various ongoing research and evaluation tasks across a number of project activities and evaluation initiatives, under the direction of the lead evaluator and in partnership with other postdoctoral and research associates. Key responsibilities include: Participating in developing and implementing evaluation plans for an array of project activities; conducting literature reviews, in depth interviews, focus groups, survey design and administration, site visits, data management, data analysis, and dissemination of results. Other duties may include assist in the development of procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities; assist in defining and implementing key project performance indicators as well as monitor them throughout the duration of the project; and support project members on ways to properly document, organize and capture program progress. This is a grant-funded, time limited position. The majority of this work will be spent using electronic interfaces and office machines. This position will have public contact. Most contact will be internally with AREA staff, but also externally with research partners in other institutions in the US. The position is a Part-Time (10 hrs per week)
