Cantor Moses was born in 1970 in Sudbury, Ontario. He is a graduate of the Tel Aviv Cantorial Institute where he studied under the direction of Cantor Naftali Herstik. His first CD, "Moses Sings", was released in 1999. In 2000, he was honored to officiate next to the Chief Rabbi of Israel and the President of Poland at the worldwide memorial service for Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) held at Aushwitz-Birkenau.
Cantor Moses began his career at the age of twenty-five at the prestigious Shaare Zion Congregation in Montreal where he served from 1996 until 2000. Since 2001, he has been the Cantor at Beth Sholom Synagogue in Toronto where he continues to inspire those around him with the rich musical traditions of the Jewish people.
