This is a broad-based program designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in a variety of environmental fields. Graduates typically work for: parks (as rangers or managers), state environmental agencies (such as the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection), environmental consulting firms, water treatment plants, sewage enforcement agencies, engineering firms, county soil and agricultural agencies, solid and hazardous waste firms, and recycling agencies. Many also pursue advanced degrees in graduate school.
