The North Carolina Tobacco Foundation
The North Carolina Tobacco Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit, charitable and educational corporation (public charity) as defined in Internal Revenue Service code 501(c)3. The Tobacco Foundation was formed in 1975 to operate exclusively for educational and scientific purposes, and to aid and promote, by financial assistance and otherwise, all types of extension and research pertaining to the production, manufacturing, and use of tobacco and tobacco products by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University at Raleigh.
