The preferred method for accessing Beilstein is via Reaxys. Reaxys provides web-based access to Beilstein, Gmelin, and the Patent Chemistry Database, both on and off campus.
Alternatively you may access Beilstein via the CrossFire Commander client-server system. To use Crossfire, you must either use a library reference computer or install special software on your on-campus computer.
Elsevier has announced that the CrossFire system is being retired as of 12/31/10. After this time, access to Beilstein from Temple University will only be via Reaxys.
