Welcome to the Alabama Vaccine Research Clinic

The Alabama Vaccine Research Clinic (AVRC) is a component of the Division of Infectious Diseases with UAB's Department of Medicine and one of ten national centers for testing of preventive AIDS vaccines in uninfected volunteers. Funded by the National Institutes of Health, the AVRC conducts clinical trials of experimental AIDS vaccines.
