Statement by American Ambassador Louise V. Oliver during the 180th session of the Executive Board of UNESCO, 8 October 2008

Another UNESCO success story is the conference that was hosted last June in Bahrain entitled “Youth@the Crossroads: A Future without Violent Radicalization.” Highlighting the need to provide the youth of the world with positive alternatives to the temptations of violent radicalization is a worthy endeavour for UNESCO.
