School of Nursing Receives Notice of NLNAC Accreditation for the BSN, MSN, and DNP Programs
TROY School of Nursing is proud to announce notification of continued accreditation of its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN and RN to BSN/MSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs and initial accreditation of its new Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The NLNAC Board of Commissioners granted the master's and bachelor's programs eight years of continuing accreditation and the clinical doctorate program initial accreditation for five years. These decisions by the Board of Commissioners represent the maximum time allowed for continued and initial accreditation of programs by NLNAC.
Accreditation indicates to our communities of interest that our programs meet national standards and guidelines for nursing education. The TROY School of Nursing is committed to the delivery of quality nursing education programs. The School of Nursing also offers an Associate of Science in Nursing program. On a different review cycle, the ASN program was granted eight years of continued accreditation by NLNAC in 2008.
