Think Troy University Risk Management & Insurance Program...it's the beginning of a great career.

The Risk Management & Insurance Studies Program at Troy University is a program dedicated to developing students of RMI who will "hit the ground running" upon graduation.

With a rigorous curriculum, excellent teaching, and career support, the program delivers what it promises, the path to a great career. Graduates traditionally take positions as underwriters, claims adjusters, account executives or risk analysts upon graduation.

The program also serves the Risk Management and Insurance industry. The Résumé Book is provided to interested employers and the pre-licensing schools and continuing education seminars provided by the program are useful to the insurance professional, as well. Insurance lectures are also offered to insurance professionals in London, England each summer.

The RMI Program is one of two in the U.S. that includes "Surplus Lines and Reinsurance" and "Insurance Accounting" in its curriculum. Knowledge in these areas give the student an advantage in finding positions in the Surplus Lines arena. The Annual Symposium provides the student with opportunities for learning from industry professionals, as do the national, regional and local internships.

Dr. Carol A. B. Jordan, Eminent Scholar of RMI, and the program director brings enthusiasm and fresh perspective to the program. Her professional life is dedicated to excellence in insurance and risk management education.
