Before you join the thousands who have graduated with an associate's degree from Heartland Community College, you'll need to be ready. Here's a graduation checklist (available in PDF format,16KB, 2 pages) to make sure you are on your way.

Graduation Audit
Find out how close you are to completing a degree or certificate with the Degree Progress Report option available to current students in your Student Center using the IRIS tab through myHeartland.
Applying to Graduate
Heartland Community College awards degrees and certificates at the end of each semester. To receive a degree or certificate students must initiate the on-line graduation process:
- Go to myHeartland
- Login with login name and password
- Go to IRIS
- Go to My Academics
- Apply for Graduation
- Submit completed "Notice of Intent to Graduate" form to Graduation Office

Dates to complete the on-line graduation process:
- Fall semester: March 2 - October 1
- Spring & Summer semesters: October 2 - March 1
Transferring credits
If Heartland is the first step in your academic career, check with an academic advisor to see if you are on the path to successfully transfer to another college or university.
