Visitor spaces are available at the Kent State Student Center Visitor lot off Summit Street, at various parking meters, and designated visitor areas located throughout campus. Yellow 30-minute meters and gray (2-4 hour) meters are located throughout campus for your convenience
Look for the "green" visitor parking areas on the
campus parking map.

Michael Schwartz Center - Visitors can get a temporary permit from the booth attendant at the entrance to the parking lot adjacent to the building.

Department Visitors - Permits are available from the secretary of the department you are visiting.
Residence Hall Visitors - Visitors may obtain a free evening and weekend permit from the Residence Hall Area Desks; you must be accompanied by a Residence Hall Student to obtain a permit. The lots you may park in are listed on the permit. During the day (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday) Residence Hall Visitors must pay to park at meters and the Kent Student Center Visitor Lot.
Note: Meters around the residence halls are enforced at all times, including overnight and the weekend.
Schwebel Room Restaurant and University Bookstore located in the Kent State Student Center Visitor - Spaces are available at the Kent State Student Center Visitor lot off Summit Street or at various meters around campus.
Kent State University Museum - The museum is located at the corner of St. Rt. 59 and Lincoln Street. Visitor parking spaces are located beside the building in the R1 lot. Visitors must register their vehicle license plate number and sign the visitor's log upon entrance to the museum.
Human Resource Service and Solutions - The Personnel Department is located on Baumgardner Circle off Midway Drive, which is off St. Rt. 59. Visitor parking is located in front of the building. Visitors must register their license plate number and sign the visitor's log upon entrance to the department.
Ice Arena - Non-permit holders may purchase a 4-hour temporary permit for $.50 which is available at one of the two permit dispensers in the lot outside the arena. Permits are not required from 6 PM Friday through 11 PM Sunday.
Student Recreation and Wellness Center - Non-permit holders may purchase a 4-hour temporary permit for $1.00 which is available at the dispenser in the lot outside the SRWC. Permits are not required from 6 PM Friday through 11 PM Sunday.
May 4th Memorial - Parking meters are located in and around the Taylor Hall parking lot.
