Academic Search Guidelines
To assist search committees in the process of hiring faculty, the Regional Campuses Office has developed a set of guidelines that campuses are encouraged to use. The Guidelines include an overview of the process; descriptions of the roles of the Campus Dean, Search Committee chair, and members of the committee; sample correspondence used in the search process; and information about conducting interviews. To assist in achieving our commitment to hiring for diversity, the Guidelines also include materials from the Office of Affirmative Action and the Provost's Office.
