Undergraduate Degrees at Kent State University

• Choose an associate degree program in your area of interest, then build on it to finish a bachelor’s degree in a related area that will add to your expertise.

• An associate degree prepares you for employment by allowing you to concentrate the majority of your studies in technical and related coursework.

• Completing a bachelor’s degree provides a more in-depth education if you want to advance in your technology-related career or begin a new career in a technology field.

Pursuing undergraduate degrees really does pay off.

Earnings increase with higher levels of education. Your earning power goes up 27 percent from a high school diploma to an associate degree; the boost is 80 percent if you complete an undergraduate bachelor’s degree!
