Husky Volunteer Team

The Husky Volunteer Team (HVT) is one of the newest initiatives sponsored by the Center of Community Service to provide meaningful and consistent service to the communities surrounding Northeastern University.

Students, in teams of 3-5, partner with a community organization for a minimum of one semester. Each team receives orientation on the organization, community, and social issue while providing meaningful weekly service. Projects range from tutoring at an after school program, visiting with elders, preparing and distributing meals, and more!

Registration to join the Husky Volunteer Team occurs at the start of each semester and continues until all teams are full. Students are placed onto teams based upon their interest and availability.

Now Accepting Applications for Summer I Husky Volunteer Teams: this semester's community partner organizations include the Yawkey Boys and Girls Club, Kennedy Elementary School, Squashbusters, and Computer Learning Resources. Download an Application Now!
