Reports & Data Resources for NU Faculty and Staff
Northeastern University faculty and staff may access both current reports and an archive of past reports--including the university Fact Book, Common Data Set, Survey of Recent Graduates, and others--by visting the Office of Institutional Research SharePoint site. (Faculty and staff can access the SharePoint site by using their NUnet account.)

Common Data Set
The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by the College Board, Peterson's, (a Nelnet Corp.) and U.S. News & World Report. The combined goal of this collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers.

Abridged Fact Book
The Northeastern University Fact Book represents an effort to improve the quality and availability of information about the university. It is a compilation of basic information about the history, aspiration, students, programs, faculty, staff, finances and alumni of Northeastern.
The Fact Book provides answers to many of the most commonly asked questions about the campus and serves as a source of comparative information over time. The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) is aware that all questions about the university cannot be answered in the Fact Book; however, such information may be available from OIR in other publications and reports, or through specialized research.
