The value of Stony Brook
"I have seen a variety of different initiatives from working with the neighborhood over the years, but I haven’t seen one as comprehensive or as fully supported by the administration as Stony Brook. This initiative takes a unique approach, to tailor the assistance to the needs of a particular neighborhood. The community is savvy about programs that do not deliver on initial promises, but this initiative is a serious effort to deal with real community concerns. "
