Center for Emergency Response Training (CERT)

CERT
The Department’s Center for Emergency Response Training (CERT) was established in 1989 in response to the demand by the local chemical and manufacturing industries for a comprehensive training program for Hazmat and emergency response and rescue personnel.  The Center provides on-campus and outreach training classes to over 700 students each year.  All classes offered by CERT meet or exceed the training standards of OSHA, EPA and the DOT.  CERT courses are outlined below.

Treatment, Storage and Disposal (TSD) Training
