The University of South Alabama History Department invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor, with specializations in France since 1715 and modern Europe, to begin August 15, 2012. The successful candidate will be responsible for courses in the history of France and modern Europe, including courses at the MA level, as well as Western Civilization survey courses. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and research. The PhD is expected by the time of appointment.
