USA Exchange Programs
The following programs are available for student participation:
Student and Faculty exchange program in Business, Foreign Language and Computer Science/Engineering
Fachhochschule Worms or
University of Applied Sciences, Worms, Germany
The Mitchell College of Business and the Fachhochschule Worms, Germany, cooperate in an exchange program for MCOB students. A maximum of three students may be exchanged each year. Students are exchanged for fall term and study selected courses related to international business with all work transferred back to the student's home institution. Students from the University of South Alabama are required to certify their competence in German upon application.
For Worms Exchange program pre-requisites please check with Dr. John Gamble (see below). Business majors should have taken at a minimum the following USA courses PRIOR to going on this program: ACC 211, ECO 215, MKT 320, MGT 300.

The USA
Universität Passau Student Exchange was initiated in the fall of 1986. The award for the German student at the University of South Alabama includes tuition and fees at USA for up to 12 credit hours for one semester. The USA students in Passau do not have to pay tuition in Germany and receive a contribution to dorm rent.
MBA Studies Exchange Program
Pau, France
The University participates in a student exchange program with the
Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Pau (
English) Annually, students from the Ecole are admitted to the MBA program in the College of Business and Management Studies after satisfactory completion of their second year in the Pau program. In turn, USA sends students from the Mitchell College of Business, the School of International Studies and the Foreign Language Department (French) to the Ecole for the semester or summer study.
