Spring 2012 Permit Distribution

Please visit Parking Services at the University Police Building (Beta/Gamma Commons) to obtain a student parking permit beginning January 4, 2012.  Due to limited parking on Stadium Blvd., please park in the big Gamma parking lot and use the sidewalk to enter Beta/Gamma Commons at the south entrance to the building.

Parking Services will be open week days from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., and on January 17th and 18th we will stay late (closing at 7:00 P.M.)

Students must bring a current student ID or drivers license and their vehicle information including the correct vehicle license tag. Students who received a parking permit last semester (Fall 2011) do not need a new permit.  Students who do not live on campus and want to exchange their current permit may do so starting January 4, 2012.  Students exchanging permits must bring their current permit, current student ID, and current vehicle information including license tag.

All currently attending students, including evening, weekend, Baldwin County, Brookley, and Web students who will be parking on campus for any reason are required to display a student parking permit. Parking permits are issued on a first come first served basis.

It is the responsibility of each student to register their vehicle and obtain their parking permit from Parking Services. Parking permits are valid for one academic year. Vehicle registration forms may be accessed via the web at http://www.southalabama.edu/parkingservices/motorvehicleregistration.pdf
