Senate Elections

SGA Elections are held during the Spring Semester usually during the month of April. The date of SGA elections is determined by the Supreme Court and the Elections Committee. Candidate applications are available online or can be picked up in the SGA Office, Student Center 280, usually during the month of March.

A mandatory candidate meeting will be held at 5:15 PM in the SGA Office on the day that applications are due to brief candidates on elections rules and procedures. All candidates must be represented at this meeting, either in person or through a representative. Failure to meet this requirement will result in immediate disqualification. Representatives of candidates who attend the briefing are responsible to provide all information, rules, and regulations to their candidate.

Students may vote at any of the SGA polling sites which are located at the Student Center , Mitchell Center College of Business, and the UCOM inside the College of Education Suite .
