The Mitchell College of Business Learning Resource Center houses the business library and the John B. Saint Financial Analysis Center which replicates a trading floor at a brokerage house. The business library offers MCOB students a quiet place to study, research and collaborate on group projects.
There is ample space to stretch the mind and body with a variety of seating configurations. The reading area accommodates up to 125 students and the computer lab seats 33. The five group study rooms offer an additional 30 seats.
The combination of business research services, a financial analysis center and a business computer lab in the same facility is a great way to seamlessly prepare future business leaders to work in an ever-increasing technological environment.

The Learning Resource Center was built with funds generously provided from a variety of resources. For the first time in University history, an all-alumni fundraising committee led the effort in raising money for the new building. The private gifts of $600,000 resulted as a response to a $500,000 gift challenge from businessman and philanthropist Abraham Mitchell. In addition, $800,000 in federal funds was secured by U.S. Senator Richard Shelby and $500,000 from University resources.
