Dr. Amanda K. Andrews
Associate Professor of Athletic Training and Sports Management
Dr. Amanda K. Andrews is assistant professor of athletic training and sports management at Troy University. She joined the faculty in 2003.
She earned a doctorate in human performance with an emphasis in administration and teaching from the University of Southern Mississippi, completed a master of science degree in physical education with an emphasis in sport administration from Eastern Kentucky University and a bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Andrews was an instructor at the University of Southern Mississippi and Eastern Kentucky University. She has also been an outreach athletic trainer with Joyner Sports Medicine in Richmond, Kent. She has conducted research in the fields of emergency medical conditions in sports and in health-related professions.
