Gwenneth J. Threadgill
Instructor for Class Piano I and II
Mrs. Gwenneth Threadgill is a native of Manhattan, Kansas. She has more than 35 years of teaching experience, which includes music and general classroom k-12 vocal and instrumental, math and English, along with private piano teaching. She is also a professionally licensed Kindermusik Instructor.
She attended the College of Emporia, in Emporia, Kansas where she fulfilled 163 semester hours in k-12 Vocal, Instrumental and Elementary Education K-8. She continued her education at Troy University in 1974 and received her master’s degree in education with an emphasis in music in 1980.
She is also a licensed hand bell instructor and Kindermusik Enrichment Seminar leader. She has been a children’s choir director at the First Baptist Church in Troy, Alabama, a private piano teacher, a band director, and vocal music teacher for grade K-6 at Pike Liberal Arts. She is also the Pike County Piano Teacher’s Chairman and the area chairman for the National Piano Guild.
