Procedure
If you are interested in studying abroad, please visit the Study Abroad office in the Academic Advising center, located in room 008 of the Foster Administration building. We are here to assist you in planning your study abroad experience, helping you to choose a country and program right for your interests, goals and academic needs.
To better understand the procedure, please download the Study Abroad Guide prepared for you by the Academic Advising Center. This guide explains the procedures required for UMass Dartmouth students planning on studying abroad . It also gives advice on preparing for your departure and return to UMass Dartmouth.

Deadlines for Application
**May 1st for fall semester of academic year
**November 1st for spring semester
Please note: These deadlines are UMass Dartmouth deadlines and your study abroad program may have earlier dates. Many require applications be submitted by October 15th for study in the spring and April 1st or April 15th for study the following fall.
