Director of Campus and Community Sustainability
The Director will be responsible for the office’s overall strategic direction. The Director will actively partner with community businesses, non-profits, and municipalities on sustainability research, service , and strategic plans and will lead campus efforts to become continually more sustainable in operations, outlook, and curricular offerings. Working with faculty, administration, and students, the Director will coordinate disparate activities in renewables, restoration science, wetlands reconstruction, and other campus specialties to raise the profile of UMD research within the broader community. The Director Director will seek extramural funding to support the work of the Office and its programs. The will also develop educational, internship, and conference offerings that support the Office’s goals.
